The specific purpose of Rebel Mining, Inc. is to capitalize on the uncommon opportunity presented in an historic mine of Searchlight, Nevada: the famous Quartette Mine.  The initial mining efforts at the Quartette began in 1898, and concluded in 1912 when the mill burned down amidst a period of labor strife.  The mine had already yielded 140,000 troy ounces of gold, among other precious metals, making it the most productive mine in Nevada at the time.  In the opinion of modern geologists, this was less than 10% of the total gold the Quartette has to offer.

The mine has largely remained dormant for the last hundred years. The modern effort to mine the Quartette has spanned 25 years, which has included a campaign of drilling, empirical assay, and engineering that has steadily built the case for re-opening the mine.

The Quartette Mine is located in Searchlight, Nevada, about 60 miles from metropolitan Las Vegas.  Contact us to arrange a visit to this historic mine site, or to learn more about our project.
